Volunteers
Become a part of the Olympics!
Volunteers have been an integral part of the Olympics since 1948, when they were also held in London. This ideal is therefore symbolically returning home. The organisers of the 2012 Summer Olympics have designated them „Games Makers“. And that is truly what they are. Without volunteers, and there will be over 70,000 of them in London, the Olympics would not be possible.
The Czech Olympic Committee also offers you this unique opportunity.
Hard work
Being a volunteer requires application, patience and determination. At the Czech House we offer tough work, but an unforgettable experience. Volunteers will not record the times of the world’s top swimmers, or fire the starting pistol for the one hundred metres final. Volunteers are in the background, but play a key role. They create the necessary conditions for both athletes and fans.

Certificate
Who can boast on their CV that they have worked at the Olympics? Not many, but volunteers can, and at the end of their service they will receive a unique certificate signed by icons of Czech sport – Olympic winners Jan Železný and Věra Čáslavska, along with Chairman of the Czech Olympic Committee Milan Jirásek.
